Here's what's new at eevi.ai this week.
We've added two new bonus lesson types:
Our vision is to build out a collection of bonus lessons as extra practice alongside your core learning path. Think, for example, "repeat after me" speaking exercises for pronunciation, or a podcast format for practicing on the road. This release is our beta version of these.
You can find the bonus lessons at the bottom of your dashboard, below your daily exercises.
Even though eevi is all about dialog, listening and spoken word, there are times when you're on the train or in a quiet space and still want to practice. For those moments, we've added the option to type your responses instead of speaking.
To switch from spoken word to type-input, hit the button on the left of your microphone (note that you can use the button on the right of the mic to complete a lesson before you're at the end).
You can toggle translations on/off in the hamburger menu (top right) during a lesson. We recommend turning them off unless you're an absolute beginner.
Tap on any word to see a contextual translation.
You can now choose eevi's voice through your settings page.
